As the Founder and CEO of the Artemisia Group, Shaina is building an acquisition platform with the clear conviction that enduring returns are created not only by buying well but by understanding how a business truly operates and knowing where practical improvements can strengthen performance over time.
Shaina's career spans more than a decade across highly regulated and operationally complex industries (pharmaceuticals, medical devices and food manufacturing). During that time she led multimillion dollar project and transformation portfolios, managing capital programs exceeding A$20M and driving initiatives across operations, engineering, maintenance, quality and supply chain. Her work consistently sitting at the intersection of strategy and execution gives her the ability to translate business priorities into delivery plans, allocating capital against competing needs, governing risk and leading cross-functional teams in environments where reliability, compliance and continuity of operations cannot be compromised. This experience gives her a different perspective than that of a conventional finance-first buyer. She understands how value is created on the ground; through stronger operating cadence, better systems, disciplined capital allocation, vendor accountability, team leadership and clear decision-making. She brings a practical ability to assess where a business is resilient, where it is exposed and where targeted operational improvements can materially improve quality and performance without compromising what already works. Shaina approaches acquisitions with both rigor and realism.
She is not underwriting value creation from a distance but building the Artemisia Group on the belief that hands-on operational judgement combined with disciplined ownership creates a stronger foundation for business continuity and investor returns.
